Husqvarna Automower 450X NERA is a high-performing robotic lawn mower, ideal for lawns up to 5000m sq. Wireless installation via the Automower Connect app and the Husqvarna EPOST Plug-in Kit (accessory) results in customisable lawn maintenance by virtual boundaries – and no risk of wire breakage. Unplanned stops are reduced with a technology that assists the mower in avoiding objects. With the virtual map created via GPS, Automower Zone Control is enabled, which you easily manage via your mobile phone to create work areas with different settings and temporary stay-out zones. 450X NERA can also be integrated with your smart home so you can use voice control with Alexa or Google Home, or take advantage of IFTTT routines.

The main features of this mower are:

• Wire free installation available – Customisable lawn maintenance thanks to wire free installation with virtual boundaries is available with an EPOS Plug-in accessory. The virtual boundaries are easy to adjust in the Husqvarna Automower Connect app, and you can create stay-out zones and multiple work areas with different settings.
• Object Detection & Avoidance – Built-in sensors assist the mower to detect and avoid objects, reducing the risk of unplanned stops. The detections mode reduces the speed and makes collisions softer and the avoidance mode causes the mower to turn away and avoid impact.
• Automower Zone Control – Create both work areas and temporary stay-out zones in the Automower Connect app, without changing the installation. Giving you more control to define different work areas of your lawn and apply different schedules and cutting heights to each. Or to prevent the robotic mower from mowing in areas by creating stay-out zones

• GPS-assisted navigation – PATENTED – An onboard GPS system creates a map of the garden, including where the boundary and guide wires are installed. Husqvarna Automower will then register which parts of the garden it has covered and adjusts its mowing pattern accordingly. This will ensure optimised lawn coverage and an excellent cutting result.
• Smart Home integration – Compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home for convenient voice control and status updates. This applies to all Husqvarna Automower models with cellular or Wi-Fi connectivity, letting you execute voice commands such as start, stop and park, and get status updates from your mower by simply asking your voice assistant. With Automower Connect you can also integrate your robotic mower with your Gardena Smart System and let mowing and watering work together.

• GPS theft tracking – Equipped with GPS tracking to keep track of the mower’s current position and minimise the risk of theft. Notifications will be sent to your device via the Automower Connect app, letting you know where your mower is at all times.

• Weather Timer – Adjusts the working time to the lawn’s growth rate, meaning that Husqvarna Automower will maximise its mowing time during periods of strong grass growth. In sunny or dry weather, or late in the season, the mower will spend less time mowing, which decreases wear on lawn and mower.
• Rewilding Mode – Rewilding Mode is designed to let nature back into your garden. When activated, it automatically allocates 10% of your lawn to a rewilding zone. Automower will leave this area untouched for as long as you want and you can rescale, reshape, move or remove the rewilding zone at any time. This feature is available on the following models: 405X, 415X, 430X NERA, 435X AWD and 450X NERA and users will be notified about the update via the Automower Connect app. 430X NERA and 450X NERA need a boundary wire installation to use Rewilding Mode.
• Frost Guard – The robotic mower automatically interrupts the mowing schedule in frosty conditions, helping to protect the lawn.
• Automatic passage handling – PATENTED – The mower automatically senses narrow passages and finds its way even through the smallest passages. It will vary its route through the passage to avoid unpleasant tracks.

• Profiles – Create several profiles with tailored schedules and settings for different locations or seasons. This makes it easier to share the mower between numerous locations and to adjust the mowing based on weather and grass growth.
• Electric height adjustment – PATENTED – Electric cutting height adjustment makes it convenient to set the desired height via the Husqvarna Automower Connect app. The setting is also accessible from the mower’s main menu.
• Easy Cleaning – Easily wash the exterior and underneath of the robotic mower with a garden hose. Removable top cover and body for easy cleaning and reachability everywhere.
• Secondary Area – If your lawn has two areas that are not connected with a passage for your mower, for example the front and back lawn, then you are able to create a secondary area in your installation. Once installed, you need to manually move the mower between these two areas, and the mower will mow for a selected time or until the battery is empty.
• Low Carbon Emissions – By choosing this product, you can feel confident that it produces lower carbon emissions during active use compared to a traditional petrol product. This battery-driven product does not emit any CO2 during use while still providing the power and quality that you expect from a Husqvarna product.
