Have you got a shop or showroom I can visit?
We have our fuel station, workshop, agricultural stores, horticultural showroom and hardware shop all down at our premises; Chapel Street, Appleby, Cumbria, CA16 6QR. We have an area which customers are free to park in, or there is ample parking in the car park opposite.
What are your Opening Hours?
Our Workshop, Fuel station and Agricultural Stores opens Mon-Fri 08:00-17:30 and Sat 08:00-13:00.
Our Hardware Shop opens Mon-Fri 08:00-17:30 and Sat 08:00-16:00.
I can’t find what I’m looking for on your website
We don’t hold all our stock and product knowledge on the site, so please get in contact and we will be more than happy to help.
Why can’t I get home delivery on certain items?
- Due to courier restrictions some of our products are currently unavailable for nationwide delivery. These products are marked for collection/local delivery only throughout the website.
- We have only mainland UK delivery options on our website.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. That said, for an addition fee delivery may still be available for the larger/heavier items and shipping outside mainland UK. Please don’t hesitate to contact us, should you require a quote. Again for any other delivery options that are not specified at the checkout which you would prefer, please get in contact and we will try our best to help.

How do to I book an item in for service?
Please give us a ring on 01768351240 or email firstname.lastname@example.org so we know to expect you and you will be given instructions on when to bring your machinery in or when we can collect.
What do you repair/service?
We repair and service all makes and models of horticultural and agricultural machinery. View OUR SERVICES to see just some of the services we offer.
Do you cut keys?
Yes, we cut the majority of all cylinder and mortice keys but we don’t stock car keys. Keys can be cut, there and then, with no waiting time.
Do you do sharpening?
Yes, we sharpen anything from knives – scissors – garden shears – clipping combs and cutters. Drop your items off in our store and we will be back in contact once they’re done. Knives can been done while you wait.
Do you do car repairs?
No, we are agricultural engineers, but we do provide air for your tyres, next to our fuel station
About my Order
I have received my item but it is not what I want, can I exchange it or get a refund?
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, for whatever reason, you may return it to us within 30 days of delivery for an exchange or refund. All goods must be accompanied by proof of purchase. When trying goods, that may be returned, please take care. Once goods are soiled (not in thier original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error) they cannot be considered for exchange or full refund. When returning any item please quote your original order number in the return. Please note that you will be responsible for arranging the return of any item to us. The cost of returning non-faulty goods is not covered under warranty and must be met by yourself. Once your return has been received we will be in touch to arrange either an exchange or refund (if applicable).

Have you received my return?
If your item was purchased directly from our website www.pigney.co.uk , we will send you an email, as soon as we receive your return. Please allow 5 working days from the date of receipt for your return to be processed.
I requested an exchange but I have not received a refund?
When any item is received for an exchange, if there is no longer stock available in the size requested and the manufacturer is out of stock, an automatic refund will be applied. Usually you will be contacted and given the option of waiting for new stock or a different option before a refund is issued.
I have a faulty item, what can I do?
Our policy is that faulty goods under a 1 year warranty must be returned to our store for an evaluation with a valid proof of purchase. Once confirmed faulty the postage incurred, within the UK, will be reimbursed at Standard Royal Mail Rates, with an exchange or a refund on the goods. The cost of returning non-faulty goods is not covered under warranty and must be met by yourself. We will of course send out any repaired / replaced goods free of any carriage charge. If faulty footwear is being returned, please ensure that they have been cleaned of excess mud first – for Health & Safety reasons we are unable to process dirty products.
My order has been cancelled?
